 Dexter RE1127-01-SG50 has prioritised comfort and protection with its large square wrapped shape for a wider field of view and elastomeric detailing in the right place to help you get the most out of your day. Dexter RE1127-01-SG50 lenses have been revamped for today, the original camera lens-quality crystal glass lens has been updated with the latest polarised technology to block glare and enhance colour and contrast. The smoky green lens provides all day comfort with a green/grey-base and silver flash mirror coated lens, ideal moderate to bright, sunny days.
In 1985 Revo started a new era of performance sunglasses, optical engineer and avid skier Dr. Mitch Ruda had one unique idea, to adapt space-based technology and create high performing eyewear. The Revo light management system was a revolutionary finding. Every Revo lens has multiple coatings for the highest level of protection, with 3-6 layers such as an authentic Revo oleophobic coating that repels oil and fingerprints, NASA lens technology-based mirror coatings, the same coatings NASA used on porthole windows as protection from space radiation now forms the basis of Revo’s proprietary lens technology, a digital friendly polarised filter that eliminates distracting glare and a hydrophobic hard coating for water repellent.

When you have your eyes tested your optician is required by law to supply you with a written copy of your prescription. Generally written prescriptions follow a specific format which may look similar to the following example


You can see that the prescription has a right (R) and left eye (L) which is then broken down into Sph, Cyl and Axis sections with values written in the relevant boxes. There is also a 'Near Add' part which is sometimes referred to as the Add' or 'Addition. The value should always be the same for both your right eye and left eye and you need to enter this value if you would like reading glasses.

When you have chosen a pair of glasses simply select the correct values for each of the boxes paying particular attention to the + (plus) and (minus) fields. This is very important. If you enter -3.00 and your prescription is +3.00 your lenses will be incorrect. We check each prescription carefully for any obvious mistakes and may occasionally contact you to verify the details, however, we cannot take any responsibility for information that has been entered incorrectly.

When ordering your glasses from us your prescription must be less than two years old. Regular eye examinations are recommended not only to ensure your glasses are accurate and providing the best possible vision but also as an important part of your regular health care.
