 The Blue & Beyond collection uses blue light reduction treatment and photochromic technology to create ready-to-wear frames which are as functional as they are fashionable. The Essilor NXT® lenses provide increased durability, along with a guarantee of high-quality vision and no strain after extensive wear. The photochromic technology causes the lens to become darker and block more rays, depending on the level of sunlight, providing more eye protection. The Blue & Beyond Collection also uses blue light reduction coating, which guarantees a minimum of 70% of blue light to be absorbed by the lens, assisting with eliminating eye stress.

The Gucci GG0396S 004 sunglasses are minimal to the max. The slim wire arms, along with the metal frame gives these frames a light and slender aesthetic, ensuring that these sunglasses will elevate your outfit. The upper half of the frame is rounded whilst the lower half uses a more hexagonal shape, which complement each other and guarantee that these frames will be a striking addition to your look. Beige ear-socks are incorporated for extra comfort, whilst the nose pads provide a steadier fit. The iconic Gucci logo is featured on the temples to deliver the perfect finishing touches.

When you have your eyes tested your optician is required by law to supply you with a written copy of your prescription. Generally written prescriptions follow a specific format which may look similar to the following example


You can see that the prescription has a right (R) and left eye (L) which is then broken down into Sph, Cyl and Axis sections with values written in the relevant boxes. There is also a 'Near Add' part which is sometimes referred to as the Add' or 'Addition. The value should always be the same for both your right eye and left eye and you need to enter this value if you would like reading glasses.

When you have chosen a pair of glasses simply select the correct values for each of the boxes paying particular attention to the + (plus) and (minus) fields. This is very important. If you enter -3.00 and your prescription is +3.00 your lenses will be incorrect. We check each prescription carefully for any obvious mistakes and may occasionally contact you to verify the details, however, we cannot take any responsibility for information that has been entered incorrectly.

When ordering your glasses from us your prescription must be less than two years old. Regular eye examinations are recommended not only to ensure your glasses are accurate and providing the best possible vision but also as an important part of your regular health care.
