Meccaniche Veloci Watches

Meccaniche Veloci is an Italian watch brand and translated into English means ‘mechanical speed’ which provides an idea of what the theme of the watches convey. The idea was developed in the 1970’s by two male mechanics who shared a passion for the concept of motor racing, and more specifically the concept of speed. The pair became quickly intrigued by the elements of the racing cars, particularly the level of speed that could be achieved and the mechanics behind this. The Quattro Valvole was the first watch produced in the Meccaniche Veloci collection and the features and interior mechanics heavily mimicked the design as used in the engine of racing cars and was produced using the vital components of a 4-stroke engine, namely, the piston. The Quattro Valvole unlike other watches that are inspired by motor racing, didn’t aim to replicate the aesthetic design of body of the car itself but an authentic part of it that related to speed. The watch symbolised the theme of racing to a new and exciting challenge and a creation that was flawless and consistently perfect. The two mechanics turned watch designers worked alongside the best watchmakers and craftsmen in the industry, and very soon Quattro Valvole became highly unique and incomparable to any other watches. Having teamed up with Brembo, the highly renowned manufacturers of brake systems, the Meccaniche Veloci brand has successfully built upon the highly respected Quattro Valvole watch and has since spent a significant period of time researching and developing the style in addition to introducing new vibrant and contemporary collections. The watches are typically made from carbon ceramic which is the material used to manufacture high-tech brakes and from an aesthetic perspective some of the watches feature four separate faces, each with independent Swiss mechanical movements and display four separate time zones in a choice of the Brembo colours of red, black, yellow and silver. Meccaniche Veloce watches can definitely described as elite objects of desire boasting intrinsic mechanical detailing, vibrancy, a cool style and constructed in a technical manner that is completely unique and considered extremely sought after in the watch industry.
