The Oakley Split Jacket is an ultra contemporary design for men and renowned for being one the most technically advanced and striking types of sunglasses in the eyewear industry. Featuring a strong and sharp design that is incredibly distinctive, the unique purpose of the Split Jacket sunglasses are that they all incorporate Oakley’s new Switchlock Technology whereby the lower section of the frame rim opens to allow the wearer to quickly change the lens which then optimises performance in any light condition. All the lenses are coated with Hydrophobic and Oleophobic technology that repels dust and helps maintain a smudge resistant barrier against skin oils, lotions and fingerprints. The frame is made from the unique and lightweight O Matter material and Unobtanium ear socks and nose pads which work to increase grip when you sweat. The Split Jacket is designed in such a way that the frame and lenses are slightly contoured at the sides maximising your peripheral view and also providing optimum protection against the elements and impact. The Oakley logo is displayed in metal upon the arm temple and the style is available in an array of frame colours including black, root bear, white, infrared and dark grey. The lenses incorporate Oakley’s High Definition Optics, a hydrophobic coating which repels rain, sweat, oils and dust and iridium coated lenses which work to reflect glare and emphasise light contrast. Some of the Split Jacket styles also feature Polarised lenses for ultimate visual quality, colour balance and protection. The style also comes with a replacement pair of lenses which offer varying technical functions and coatings.
