The Oakley Radar XL Straight Blades sunglasses are a design for men and are a prominent style within the Oakley Radar collection. What makes the Radar XL Straight Blades sunglasses innovative and unique are that they are built with an extra 7mm between the nose bridge and the top of the frame, therefore extending the wearer’s field of vision. The straight stems are also designed to fit comfortably under most helmets, making the Radar XL Straight Blades sunglasses versatile and adaptable. The frame is made using the robust and impact resistant yet lightweight O Matter material and the design comes equipped with two Unobtanium nosepieces of varying sizes. The stem sleeves are also made of Unobtanium, which works to increase grip as perspiration levels also increase. The frame is secured using Oakley’s dynamic Three-Point Fit structure, holding the lenses in precise optical alignment. The sleek style of the Radar XL Straight Blades sunglasses is further accentuated with the metal Oakley icon displayed upon the temple. The lenses are made of pure Plutonite, which filters out 100% of all UV light and also feature a Hydrophobic/Oleophobic coating that repels dust and prevents water and oils from smudging, therefore making the lenses easy to clean. The Oakley Radar XL Straight Blades lenses also feature the benefits of Oakley’s High Definition Optics (HDO), for unbeatable visual clarity in addition to iridium lens coating options to balance light transmission.
