Cavalli is known for using wild animal prints and sexualized cuts in his design, leading to comparisons with designer Gianni Versace and his popularity with many young celebrities, such as Victoria Beckham with whom he famously signed an exclusive dressing contract. On November 8th Roberto Cavalli designed and released an exclusive line at H&M. In the San Francisco H&M flagship store the women's line sold out within the first 10 minutes and the men's line sold out within 3 hours. In the Boston H&M flagship, Roberto's line for both men and women was completely sold out in 15 minutes, and the backorder/waitlist was full in 45 minutes. Flagships in Southern California, New York, Miami, and Chicago also had similar outcomes with Cavalli's line.
