The earstems of the Polished Black frame are highlighted with the color purple. The military decoration known as the Purple Heart is awarded to soldiers killed or wounded in battle, and the color is used in this design to honor the fallen. Part of our Active Collection, Necessity offers the all-day comfort of durable yet lightweight O Matter® frame material. The tint of our Black Violet Gradient lenses is darker at the top and lighter at the bottom, and the lens color is optimized to increase visual contrast and improve depth perception in medium-bright sunlight. This special edition sunglass comes with a custom Microclear™ bag for frame storage and lens cleaning.
