The Marc Ecko Empire was founded out of passion, inspiration and intense ambition. Ecko was at University in 1993 when he decided to pursue his passion in urban art, design and fashion rather than to continue his degree in pharmacology. Staring small, Ecko began creating images to print on t-shirts and sold locally to friends until he has enough funds to take the label to the next level and retail in the shops of Manhattan.
