The Jee Vice brand was founded by French designer Philippe Vergez who was born in 1959. Vergez was also one half of the duo who founded the Californian based sportswear sunglasses brand Arnette which subsequently provided him with a highly respected name in the eyewear industry. Vergez has become renowned for his free spirited nature and interesting aesthetic designs which prompted him to design his own range based upon his own passions and inspirations.

In 2003, Vergez launched his own collection of sunglasses in France named Jee Vice, designed specifically for women and with the objective of allowing ladies to express a unique, strong, empowering and ultra feminine sense of style.
