The Guess brand began in 1981 as a small jeans company based in California and came to the forefront of fashion with a bang when it was the label responsible for making jeans fashionable, stylish and sexy. Guess now is a global success and prides itself on producing high quality and super stylish clothes and accessories all over the world. The founders of the brand are brothers Maurice and Paul Marciano, both of whom were raised in the south of France and thus successfully captured that strong sense of exquisite European style within their designs. Guess is now hugely popular on a global level as it retains that all American style with European sophistication. The two designers felt that the late 1980's and early 1990's was an era whereby people needed a sense of inspiration in fashion or at least more trend options and Guess effectively fulfilled this role. The collection of Guess watches perfectly encapsulate the overall Guess style and are all about injecting an element of glitz and glamour into your look. Diamante embellishments are often featured within the designs but the level of 'bling' is kept chic and sophisticated. Many Guess watches are classic and element in design but the brand likes to add a sense of fun and sexiness into the timepieces and thus the logo is often boldly displayed or feminine colours such as baby pink or pearl white watch straps are incorporated which keep the watches unique and instantly recognisable to Guess. Recognising that not every lady has the same style preferences, Guess also incorporates some edgier and funky styled watches into the collection to appeal to a more urban taste. The brand is consistently updating its collection of watches to keep up with or help establish seasonal trends and the latest watches include the stunning designs launched to celebrate the 25th birthday of Guess.
