G-Shock Watches

G-Shock are a brand of watches manufactured by Casio and are named G-Shock primarily due to their resistance to impact. The first G-Shock watch was launched in 1983 and the watches became incredibly popular throughout the 1990’s. Designed with the intention for use when outdoors and during sports activities, G-Shock watches all feature varying stopwatch functions, countdown timers and light and water resistance to name only a few of their capabilities. They are therefore renowned in the watch industry for their durability and superb functionality but the recent collections have also incorporated some more luxurious aesthetic designs, helping G-Shock watches to also become a strong player on the style scene. Casio launches new designs within the G-Shock range twice every year to fit accordingly with the seasons and there are a number of G-Shock watches to suit a variety of aesthetic or functional preferences.
