Time to care 2013 - a charity campaign which comes from the heart

 

Once again BERING is showing compassion for polar bears and is continuing the “time to care” campaign this year, with two highlights in particular.

 

Firstly, the project has won the support of no less than the world famous polar bear scientist and chief scientist of Polar Bears International, Dr. Steven Amstrup, who is now the project’s mentor. As a young man he discovered his passion for the majestic animal, which is in danger of extinction. Since then he has passionately and devotedly campaigned to save the polar bears. As recognition for this outstanding performance/achievement and devoted work, in 2012 he was honored with the Indianapolis Prize, the world’s leading award for animal conservation, and the Bambi in the “Our Earth” category.

 

Secondly, BERING developed for the first time a watch and jewellery set, especially for this campaign, which emanates uniqueness, exclusivity and elegance in several ways. The charity set is limited to 2,000 pieces worldwide, which are numbered consecutively, and is available in a puristic black or white look. It consists of an exclusive SLIM CERAMIC watch with black or white ceramic elements, which are refined with sparkling Swarovski stones. Scratch resistant sapphire crystal makes sure that time leaves no mark. The set is completed with a matching chain, on which a small, modest gemstone heart hangs next to an elegant ceramic ball pendant and subtly draws attention, in a subtle way, to the fact that the person wearing it has a passion for polar bears. BERING will donate 15 dollars to the animal rights organization Polar Bears International for every set sold.
