Adidas is one of the most renowned sports brands in the world and has also successfully transcended itself into the world of fashion. The brand was founded by brothers Rudolf and Adi Dassler who were shoe makers from a small rural town and the company began very small. In 1948 Rudolf Dassler left to start his own company and thus Adi came up with the simple idea of a three stripe logo and changed the brand name to Adidas.
