The SIGNATURE SQUARE AF adopts a classic square style, with modern interpretations. Thick arms are a nod to contemporary styling, incorporating oversized elements into an otherwise classic frame. In line with the thick arms, a grand BB emblem graces the temples, for an instantly recognisable hallmark. Crafted from bio-based acetate, the malleability and flexibility of this style is essential for a daily pair, ready to withstand long use without irritation. 

BLADE

The Balenciaga BLADE sunglasses feature an exaggerated, super-narrow silhouette for a stretched effect, wrapped around the face. Ultra-modern in design, the seamless curved front delivers a distinct look, striking the perfect balance between cutting edge and luxury. The seamless aesthetic is exemplified by a sleek monochromatic logo debossed into the temple as a hallmark of detail. Balenciaga’s ergonomic nose rest allows for easy all-day wearing. 

SPORTY B

The Y2K aesthetic is back, and the SPORTY B ROUND AF frame embodies this effortlessly. Inspired by athletic gear, the frame draws elements from bulb and almond shaped goggles to create a more drastic version, with a continuous frame from bridge to temple tip. Seamlessly wrapping up and across the eyes, the curvature is maintained throughout the frame, with the temples featuring a metallic embossed BB emblem. 

BOLT

The BOLT sunglasses introduce new Balenciaga branding with an oversized screw head embellishment affixed at the temples, an emblem symbolic of the brands commitment to innovation in design. The modern subtle wrap shape sits snugly on the contours of the face without going full sporty. The bevelled edges complete the smooth aesthetic of the front, contrasted by the temple’s industrial emblem.

Balenciaga’s optical collection is a testament to the Spanish house’s ability to transform the conventional into the extraordinary. Maintaining the roots of traditional silhouettes, Balenciaga have achieved brilliance through precision and intellect.
