LTD Watches come in a multitude of different colours at very purse friendly prices. These brightly coloured beauties start at £25 and you’ll be surprised to learn that you’re also buying into a limited edition piece. As the name suggests each style is on limited release and has only been reproduced up to 150 times. You’ll also find a unique number engraved on the back of the case, as proof of its exclusiveness.
For such amazing prices, you’d expect a catch right? Well not from where we’re looking. Each style has quartz movement, a magnified date window and is water resistant up to 30 metres. LTD Watches are made from polycarbonate material making them highly durable and robust. The more expensive range of LTD Watches are made from ceramic, which is hard-wearing, scratch resistant and very on trend.
Don’t get us wrong. With LTD Watches you are not buying a classic wristpiece that you’ll want to wear in years to come. The beauty is that these watches are seasonal. The designs are changed a couple of times a year and the colours refreshed. Frankly LTD watches are cheap enough that you can buy a new one every year if you wanted, however they are hard wearing and as such will last well beyond your fickle fancy!
Celebs are in on the LTD action too. Pop stars like Dizzy Rascal, JLS and Calvin Harris are all fans, as is T4 presenter Jameela Jamil, and magazines including Company, More and Sugar have all featured LTD Watches within their pages.
LTD Watches – The New Styles!
LTD watches are a new watch brand which very recently launched in 2009 with the view of designing and creating a collection of limited edition style watches available in small quantities. Only 100-150 models in each style is made around the world and though highly exclusive, what makes LTD watches unique aside from their style, is that each watch retails between £49 and £79 which makes them accessible to most budgets. However, once they are sold out, you won’t be able to buy them again and this definitely adds a desirable factor to the brand as LTD watches will soon become collector’s items.
LTD watches provide that instant quick fix trend appeal with their vibrant colour tones. Bold colour has certainly been a key trend throughout 2009 and this is set to continue through to 2010. LTD watches focus on colour and keep the remaining design and overall aesthetic simple with the models typically featuring a stainless steel case, polycarbonate bracelet straps and a round dial. In many of the new styles, vibrant colours including yellow, pink, orange, black, white, blue and green to name only a few have been combined together to create a real statement watch that injects current style into your look. Some of the LTD watches also have a neon colour effect and some use cool contrasting colours in the dial and the strap such as turquoise and yellow. These make for the perfect striking accessory a
nd will jazz up any outfit and add a nice splash of colour to muted tones.

LTD Watch: LTD 130407
An incredibly retro inspired chunky LTD watch, this style features a large square dial with two slim digital displays. The bold use of multiple colours creates a true statement watch with a funky yet simple aesthetic and style. There are four versions of this watch in different colour combinations.
LTD Watch: Super Glow 140101
As the name suggests, these LTD watches have a unique feature of glowing in the dark. In similar styles as the first collection with round dials and polycarbonate straps, these still come in a range of cool and vibrant colours but also have glow in the dark capability
LTD Watch: LTD 010101
The most exclusive of the LTD watch collection, this rather unique and special watch has the same aesthetic as the other LTD watches, but the round dial is entirely embellished in diamante jewels for that added bling factor. The strap is clear polycarbonate and this is the perfect accessory to brighten up your look with a glamorous yet trendy edge.
Other new styles include versions with jewel encrusted skull designs on the dial. As winter is upon us, the designs of the watches have adapted accordingly and still use colour as the focal point, but also incorporate other striking features such as diamante jewel embellishments and picture designs on the dials for a more relevant autumn/winter style.
Despite their relatively low price tag, LTD watches are still great quality and are designed to be durable, functional and of course, reliable. The analogue watches are powered by three hand Japanese quartz movement and the hands and dial feature luminous inserts making them readable at night. All LTD watches also include their exclusive limited edition number on the design.
Needless to say, LTD watches are a favourite among many celebrities including Dizzee Rascal and Calvin Harris and the girls from The Saturdays have often been seen wearing different versions. This also is testament to the fact that just because a product is exclusive it can still be financially accessible to everyone and if they are good enough for the celebs, then they are definitely good enough for us!
You do have to be quick as these watches really are only made in limited quantities and thus not only will you be getting a highly on trend and funky accessory, in less than years to come you will own something incredibly unique and relevant to this fashion era. The collection is constantly revamped and updated and there are some incredible styles to choose from this season. The winter may be grey, but with LTD watches, your look can say the exact opposite!
LTD watches-Very Colourful
LTD watches are quickly infiltrating the celebrity world and it’s no surprise. With this season’s obsession with bright colours, you’d be hard pushed to find a more on-trend watch brand. The novel ‘limited’ concept behind the label ensures wristwear designs always remain original and more importantly, always in vogue. Bonkers favourite, Dizzee Rascal, performed to an audience of thousands wearing his Ltd watch, as did Scotsman Calvin Harris and Girls Aloud pretenders, The Saturdays.
