Sneak-a-Peek: Dior Homme Collection
Here at Shade Station we manage to stay one step ahead of the game and once again we have the inside scoop on a brand new range: Dior Homme Sunglasses! That’s right, Dior are releasing a range of male sunglasses that are going to be due for release around March 2013 and they have already caused a stir in the sunglass world. Despite only being available in 2 colours and 2 styles, the Dior Homme Sunglasses Collection has an incredible depth of style and character which elevates these to the same standard as the already well established men’s sunglass brands. Known as the Dior BlackTie, these sunglasses are highly advanced and are manufactured using a unique combination of two ultra-thin layers of acetate around a thin metal structure to provide comfortable usage all day. Exclusively handmade in Japan for Dior Homme, these sunglasses benefit from all the technical skills and savoir-faire of Japanese ateliers specialised in high-end eyewear.
Dior Sunglasses have always been coveted and I think with the depth of range the Dior Homme range now represents, the brand is only going to get bigger and better; so it’s worth grabbing a pair while you can! Available right here from Shade Station in March 2013, you can be informed by email once these arrive in with us and if you follow us on Facebook and Twitter, you will be kept updated on the latest style news and trends daily…

Chanel Bijou Collection Launch – Paris 2013

This week saw the launch of the brand new Chanel Bijou Collection in the Grand Palais in Paris and we had the privilege of being invited along to this highly exclusive event! Of course we were there to see the new Chanel Sunglasses range, however it is worth pointing out the beautiful and down right glamorous clothing and location we were in. Undoubtedly, Chanel are the pinnacle of fashion brands and their lavish, decadent ethos spilled out into everything that went on over the course of the week including the brilliantly choreographed catwalk showcasing their latest lines (see exclusive footage of this in the video below).
Due for release this year, the new Chanel Bijou Sunglasses collection is quite simply exquisite with chic temple designs and lenses that would make even the sports specific brands jealous. A combination of acetate, metal and diamantes; the frames are magnificent and would fit perfectly on the face of any fashionista out there and the beautifully crafted arms taper over your ears for a comfortable and easy to wear fit. Chanel Sunglasses always feature fantastic lenses to complete the look and a range of colours will be available in the new range from Graduated Grey to Brown which accentuates the already striking frame colours. Your eyes are protected at all times with UVA, UVB and UVC filters on all lenses and this will block 100% of harmful rays; an invaluable asset should you want to wear them all day as a lifestyle piece.
As you can see in the image below, the release was also overlooked by world famous Chanel designer Karl Lagerfeld who cast a very approving eye over all proceedings and thanks to his endorsement, the Bijou Collection is set to be one of the most popular styles in the world! This collection will be hitting the shelves in 2013 and once we have a solid release date, we will be sure to keep you all informed. Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for daily updates and check out the exclusive images below!
