D&G Jewellery was first founded in 1985 by Domencio Dolce and Stefano Gabbana both Italian born designers. While Dolce studied fashion, Gabbana studied graphic design, both also gaining work experiences in the fashion industry. The pair met in 1980 and by 1982 they had their own fashion consulting studio. It wasn't until 1985 that they shown there woman's collection in Milan, this was the start of Dolce & Gabbana. They now have shops in Italy, Japan, Milan, Hong Kong and most capital cities.
D&G have many areas that they concentrate in, those being knitwear, leather goods, underwear, beachwear, fragrances and jewellery each being an individual piece of art.
