The Pilgrim jewellery brand was founded in Denmark in 1983 by Annemette Markvad and Thomas Adamsen. The company began small, spending its first few years of trading travelling around Denmark selling the modest collection of jewellery in the streets and at rock festivals.

Markvad and Adamsen designed and manufactured their jewellery in their small apartment located in Skanderborg and it wasn’t long before the collections grew in popularity. Soon the designers were exhibiting their pieces at trade fairs in Denmark. The business grew, involving family and friends, and today the company comprises of approximately 70 people, with the brand’s jewellery, watches and sunglasses housed by over 4000 retailers and 50 concept stores based all around the world.

The Pilgrim jewellery collection includes a beautiful and eclectic selection of rings, necklaces, bracelets, charms, brooches and earrings. The designs are incredibly varied; incorporating stunning multi-strand necklaces adorned with striking Swarovski charms to silver plated rings featuring intricately detailed and expertly crafted fox head designs. Wildlife and nature are prominent inspirations within the designs and the brand embodies the notion of being outstanding and faithful to what we stand for. Whilst maintaining firm brand values, the pieces are exceptionally fashion forward, featuring skulls, flowers and leaf designs for example, all of which are very strong on the accessories fashion scene.

The ultimate aim of the Pilgrim brand is to create products specifically for the individual, which therefore allows you to be outstanding and find a piece that is truly unique. Each piece is made using exceptionally high quality materials including enamel, the finest Austrian Swarovski crystal, acrylic stones, freshwater pearls and is gilded with 22-karat gold or sterling silver plated using genuine gold or silver. Every piece is handcrafted to perfection and the brand expertly experiments with layering, texture and fine definition.
