8LA jewellery was founded by London based designer Lucy Holbrook. Lucy was already experienced in the fashion industry, having worked as a successful makeup artist and a stylist for leading fashion magazines. She maintained a passion for fashion, particularly accessories, and was therefore inspired to create her own jewellery line.

Lucy began designing pieces that appealed to her own personal sense of style and sold her jewellery on Brick Lane market. The jewellery was incredibly well received, sold well, and became so popular that this encouraged Lucy to make her hobby a full-time career. The 8LA jewellery brand was then born.

The 8LA collection is designed for women and comprises of easy to wear pieces that boast an eclectic 70’s inspired style and fuse delicate designs with a distinctive rock chic edge. The use of skulls contrasted with pearls feature in some pieces, and the incorporation of exquisite colours, semi-precious stones and silk threads are also prominent design elements. The collection aims to compliment all skin tones and can easily be worked into a variety of looks. Key colours within the 8LA range include gold and black combined with turquoise, pearl and pink tones.
