Black Dice was created in recognition of the lack of stylish urban watches on the market for people that love music and design. As such Black Dice watches have placed themselves at the ‘intersection of music, design and urban living' to fill this gap and create sexy watches for stylish men and women. Before Black Dice launched in 2006, wristwear was largely influenced by sport or high-end fashion. Black Dice's aim was to create street wear led watch designs, in which inspiration would be taken from the urban community and certain music genres like hip-hop and RnB.
2008's X Factor enjoyed a liberal sprinkling of Black Dice.
