Azuni jewellery was founded by Ashley Marshall who was a former chef before he was a jewellery designer, and spent 12 years in a variety of London’s most high profile kitchens. However in 1996, he decided it was time to take a new creative direction. Inspired by his passion for Native American spirit and culture, Ashley took a trip to South America, Mexico and Guatemala. He then embarked on a three-year jewellery design course at Sir John Cass University and a meeting with a small fair-trade workshop in Guatemala led to the founding and creation of the Azuri jewellery brand.
